Mudras – Introduction – Being Complete

A Mudra is like a Yoga Asana, a position to direct energy/chi/prana/intention within the body and/or outside. Mudras is like Yoga for the hands. Or from a Chi Gong practitioners perspective, hand chi gong. Mudras can also be explained as hand gestures to express some kind of message or to attract more of what you need, or to simply become more susceptible for the metaphysical realm, so one can more easily intertwine the metaphysical with the physical.

Through out the times there has been recorded numerous mudras that have certain common effects on the body’s health and well-being.

The most common mudras are perhaps the touching of thumb-tip to each fingertip, as in the picture below. This specific mudra is often called Gyan/Dnyaan or Vaay Vardah mudra, BTW.

This mudra has shown to concentrates the energy of the body, the prana, chi and sends the excess energy to the lower half of the body, from the root chakra down. This process gives a result of, probably among others: concentration, calmer in mind; strengthen the nervous system; elevate memory and other mind activities; lowering of stress in lungs; elevates activity in the root chakra, which is often the most important chakra to keep active. More on chakras later…

In many cultures they appoint one element to each finger. In the Buddhist traditions they often use 5 elements: fire, air, ether, earth and water. In  their philosophy, these 5 elements make it possible for us to exist in this realm of existence. By stimulating the 5 elements one can achieve a healthier state of being. The thumb represents Fire, index finger: air, the middle finger: ether, ring finger: earth and little finger water.

In many Taoist traditions this mudra known as a mudra of knowledge. they may perform it like this: the index finger lightly touches the ball of the thumb. The remaining three fingers are straight (not strained).

Many great philosophers, scientists, healers, and thinkers has used this mudra in different situations, and many still do.

Also in many Taoist traditions, each of the fingers represents each aspect of your existence. The Thumb: represents the earthly aspect of you; index finger: the mind; middle finger: the bodily aspects of you; ring finger: the spirit; little finger: the heavens.

From ones 2 hands and 10 fingers, one can do countless of different mudras that have all sorts of effects on ones reality

Awakening of The Mind ♥

The mind is a powerful force. With mind you get to choose what type of reality you wish to live in. Too few people actually use that power. Too many are choosing to live in a reality that haven’t been made by them self. Often this will be a factor for low self-esteem and depression.

“Why can it lead to that?” because if you live a life chosen by others, you are most likely not walking your own path, Tao the true.

I bet you ask yourself now, “am i choosing my own path in life?” The only one that can ever know that is you. but if you are not sure, you can ask yourself some questions. Some questions i like to ask myself is:
- Why am i doing this?
- For who am i doing this?
- Is this a right way to do this?
- For what am i doing this?

Only you can ever answer those questions, if you act in a way that is of one fashion. I choose to act in the fashion of a combination: Love and Tao. So by choosing my own perspective, reality, i take total control over my own destiny.

As you have probably noticed, there are people in this world that will do what ever they need to keep you in line. “in line for what?” in line for their own needs to be fulfilled. Their actions will end up in taking you freedom in a way that you will not see it, if your mind is asleep. Those people have already taken over: the schools and turned it to a molding facility; the Media, like it or not, the TV, Papers, Music, Radio and other media outlets is only a way to control your thoughts, I’ll show you how later in this post; Food and medicines, they don’t let you medicate yourself in the best and cheapest ways, nor feeding you food that is, actually not for your benefit, i’ll talk more about later in this post or another day; Your Money, they have taken mostly full control over you financial needs, if you think you own the money in your bank then, sorry to say it, you have been dooped to believe so and stripped of you gift to see; you needs! with Media outlets they can control what you think you need with commercials, movies and TV-shows.

I bet there is lots of other areas they control for you. “Who are they?” i bet your asking, while some of you already know. The social community call them the Illuminati and the Free Masons. I call them for their real names: The 13 Bloodlines and the Masons. “Why do you call them this?” because this is what they originally were called. The Illuminati (the enlightened/ those who hold the truth) is actually not what they are called today. The 13 Bloodlines has only taken the name to make them selves look like the good guys, this has happened to many symbols and names through out the  ages (Hitlers Nazi symbol, f. ex. it was originally a symbol for an ancient Sun God,today it is a symbol for Hatred). They are the ones who hold the truth from others, by claiming the authority to “re-write” history. I say the Masons because they are not free in my eyes, They are originally people who have a natural gift to construct what ever. The 13 Bloodlines would be stupid not to manipulate the Masons in to work for them. “Why do you think this?” because the Masons does not have a natural gift to be spiritually enlightened, unless they have been taught, and they are mentioned along with satanism. This does not fly straight for me. Why would those who do not have a spiritual bone, worship a spiritual concept like Lucifer? I believe that the 13 Bloodlines are the ones make the Masons to what they are, by calling them Free Masons, but without even knowing it, they are not free, just like Way Toooo many of you. Not that i am completely free (i guess there are areas i don’t even understand the controlling method that is used), but only by seeing what one have never seen, by understanding what your higher self say and listening to the truth within yourself, you can be more free than those who only see what they have seen, understand what they think, not why they think, and listening to others’ truth.

Let me talk about how they can control your thoughts with media. Just by saying something that is not true and taking away the functionality of you Pineal Gland (Third Eye). They strip you of your Pineal Gland functionality by feeding you foods and medicine that creates a fluoridation and kalsium substances in your Pineal Glands own water, This makes you into a Puppet, a Puppet on the stage on life, a type of prop. By then saying lots of bullshit on TV, in Music, Papers, Magazines, on the Radio and on Internet sites driven by similar organizations with the same people on top, they actually control you. If you would like to learn more about the Pineal Gland / Third eye, you can read many of the previous posts on this topic.

If you read this and go like “pfff, this just a way to scare others” then you actually prove that your Pineal Gland is not active. If you get kind of enthusiastic when you have read this you Pineal Gland just need a little push to become active. If you think like “yupp, I know this” then your Pineal Gland is most likely active. Try it out, you will see that this is true.

Another way the power of media controls your mind is: just by telling you anything at all. When you read this post or any post, listen to music, watching the news/shows/movies, reading books/papers/magazines you actually think what you read, watch or hear. The point i am trying to make now, is this: you should choose what you intake into your mind and thought patterns.

Have you heard of “Affirmations”? this is an exorcise that many people use consciously to change their current thought pattern. This is used by repeating a word, sentence or a ritual that gives you a meaning of what you wish to change into, as often as possible. I would like to live on love, so I surround myself with all i feel is love, and it is working for me. I bet it would for you to. The concept of “affirmations” is something that those who lead the media is very familiar with. They use it to control your entire being.

I Highly recommend that you take control of yourself, so that you wont be manipulated into a pattern that fits the 13 Bloodlines’ plan.

This post is not scare, more to expand your understanding, enlighten you so that you can take control over your Mind. If you doubt the information given here, then test it. Look through the eye of Love and see the truth behind all the lies that are told.

Have nice day sweets :D

#PS: I know this post has no pictures, this is because i don’t like that there are so many distractions from the message that is given. I could make this very interesting by using great pictures, videos and similar, but then i would be using outside factors to manipulate your interest.

Broken Heart Mending

The last time I have been helping some friends through a hard love-batch. Its not that long a go since I went through something like that. Something I had to remark was this;

“Why is love so hard, and why won’t she answer my calls or SMS’? – I don’t think I can survive without her!”

Why do so many of us set our partner as focus of life? I have mentioned it before in the post about “Zhong”- find your focus. I remember I had the same thoughts as my friends did when the last breakup a cured. I was out of it, every time I thought about her I Went in a depression. That is no use by the way. When I started studying “Taoism” I found some interesting points. This type of obsession is a real down bringer, it lowers your water, tree, fire, earth and metal elements in your body. Often it appears like this:

Your partner breaks up, what do you often feel first? often the fear of that the Ex never loved you and that they found another person that is better. This brings you often into a depression of low self-esteem and low self-value, you start to “find yourself” again (low water, start of low fire). Many cases you become angry and violent, if not against others you take it hard out on yourself for a long while (low tree). You start to remember all the good times and long for the past, while you fear for the unknown future (low metal). Here is what I mean is the reason for why this element fall happens. It is the obsession of the person, and this is the element of earth.

I bet your sitting and hoping for a potion for heartache, but I’m just writing without thinking, so still I don’t know how this post will end. But if you have read any of the other posts about the tastes of elements, you probably remember that earth has the taste of sweet, sugar. Females are often known for stuffing their face with sweetstuff like; ice-cream, gummy bears and so on when they are in a down period. Maybe that is not such a bad thing, regarding that sugar strengthen the earth-level in the body and helps against obsessions?

So why not try that out in a case of heavy heartache? Eat something sweet. But what can then happen to the rest of the elements if you take in much sugar? well. the salt in the water flats out, which makes you anxious and digs a deeper identity problem, which flats out the fire and digs a depression, and if the fire is low then the metal will plummet after a while, and thats when you become melancholic and makes you long for the past, which also takes a pull on the tree, which makes you angry at the present and future. So how to find a balanced intake to this?

Remember the “magic potion” I wrote about in a previous post? the one about mixing all of the tastes to get a balanced level between the elements? tastes-of-balance

I believe that it would help you a great deal by taking that formula. Try it out for a couple of days and see if you feel different, that is if you are going through rough love-batch. At fact, try it anyways, I bet it will make you feel better then a whole lot of other things and stuff :)

As a last tip of the day :P If you feel you often have a problem with anxiety and do not like to drink saltwater, you can make food and spice it with basilisk. This will make you feel more comfortable :)

Thank you for reading.

Have a nice day

Complaining Leads to Depressions!

First off, I would like to Thank You, my dear reader for all the love shown in the comments. It really warms my heart to see someone take use and like what I write. Thank you so much :D

To day im going to talk a little more about depression. For a short while ago i attended an incredible educational seminar in Spain, hosted with outstanding great doctors in Traditional Chinese Medicine. The topic for the whole seminar was Depression.

Some of the tips i picked up is what this post is about. Depression is becoming one of the most widespread sicknesses in the world. Some of the things that is so unfortunate about this disease is that it is hard for others to see. According to the numbers i heard; every 20 second a person commits suicide. Many millions of people every second, every day are deeply depressed, and what does most doctors of the west say? “Stop smoking, drinking, eating fat filled foods, stop doing drugs!” Take away all that makes a person happy, what can then make it joyful? Do not get me wrong. I love much of what the western doctors do and help with, but some moderation should more or less be in place. I have started smoking cigarettes again, but less then before. I have started drinking again, very little, some red wine every day (good for the heart; color = red, taste = often bitter) and I feel more stabil then for a long time, just by taking back a few small goods. But remember: MODERATION! To quote “Tao Te Ching” : There are too many rules to hold on to if all you do is to hold to your center.

Do not throw away the previous tips i’ve given i other posts. Find a way to balance up with what you need and prefer.

There are many symptoms that actually are visible in depression. If a person lacks creativity, laughs little, barley smiles, criticize many things, often looks like the face is hanging, is socially acward or not social at all, if the breath is long on inhale and very short and fast on exhale, that person is most likely depressed. There are other symptoms, nut i can not remember it all :) If you know or see someone who fits in these symptoms, please go and give them a hug or do something nice for them. You will benefit great from doing this.

One of the many things that often triggers a depression is an ugly thing that is extremely contagious. Complaining! It sends out so much negativity that some day will strike you back in one way or the other. When a group of people, say 5 people, sits and talk, one of the persons complain about (for example) work, after a short while every one in the group has made a complaint. This may not seem like much, but after a while it is likely that more then half of that group will become depressed.

On the seminar in Spain everybody got a red bracelet to remind us that we should not complain. I strongly recommend that you do the same. If not a bracelet, than use something that you dedicate to just that which you carry at most times. “The Reminder of Positivity” is what I call this.

Next and last tips in this post is this; Breath with your stomach and not with your chest. Try it out for a few hours and try to notice any changes in the brain. When you breath with your chest you do not empty your body properly for Chi. You will often find that you are bottling up things this way. When you breath with your stomach you empty out the Chi you have inhaled and can take in new, without packing Chi upon Chi.

What happens if Chi is bottled up and not distributed correctly through the body? You manifest Chi blockages. That’s when you become sick in various ways.

So remember to keep your thought complaint free, and your Chi flowing. After a while, others can feel you are glowing.

Thank you for reading. Hope you found good use of this information :)

Have a very nice day and Don’t Worry, Be Happy :D

Tastes of Balance

If you remember the post about the 5 element in the face, this will not be all that new to you. The last couple of weeks I have been experiencing with a thought I got while reading the “Bible” of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the school I attend; the Tratado. In that book I learned that All the 5 elements; Water, Tree, Fire, Earth and Metal, Has each their Visceral and Organ, and that they have each their visibility in the face. Later on I learned that they also have their own tastes.

Then I heard from my teacher that if you taste all tastes, you will also level your balance between the elements. This got me thinking. I learned that each taste is to each element as follows:

  • Water – salt
  • Tree – sour-bitter
  • Fire – bitter
  • Earth – the taste of no taste and sweet
  • Metal – hot, spicy

I’ll repeat some of the qualities to each element, so that you will know more of each taste and what they can contribute with.

Water: Its organ is the kidneys and the visceral is urinary bladder. In the water lies all of your identity and fear. When you are afraid you have little water in your body than usually, as also if you have anxiety attacks or can’t let go of your past with a smile and meet the future with the same. This is a huge problem in the world; fear of what others may think of you for example. Water has also been linked directly to the feeling of accountability, judge that as you will if it as good or bad thing, but it is easier to take things like they are and contemplate what you can.

Tree: This element’s organ is the liver and its visceral is the gall bladder. Determination is the main factor of function when you are in good balance with your tree. When you find your self violent, angry and doubtful, you know now that your tree balance is off.

Fire: The organ is the heart and the visceral is the the small intestine. From the fire all joy and happiness. When you feel depressed, that you have low self-esteem and in generally not happy, your fire is low. This is something I will get back in more depth later.

Earth: Its organ is the spleen-pancreas and the visceral is the stomach. Its behavior is reflecting and when the earth is low you will easily become obsessed.

Metal: The organ to this element is the lungs and the visceral is the colon. Its mental health is linked with the memory and when your metal is low you will start to long for the good old days and become melancholy.

So now you know a little bit about each element and its tastes, functions and so on. How to use the tastes for your beneficial reasons? There are many thing you can do this. I advice you to first get used to how each taste feels, smell and taste so taht you can know what to insert when needed. Here is a short list of examples to each taste:

  • Salt – well, you know the taste of salt. but be careful not to take too much salt, though it can cause problems with your bones. Most people take in a lot of salt in almost everything they eat, so take little salt by itself.
  • Sour-bitter – I usually take a sip of pure lemon juice, but in the mixture I’m going to show you, it will be combined with Fire’s bitter taste.
  • Bitter – I usually use cinnamon for the mixture, but is you really want to taste a bitter taste you can take a bite of clean rabarbara. This will give you a good taste of bitterness.
  • Sweet – I bet you know the taste of sugar, so I will not go into that, but the taste of no taste is a hard one. I think it is the taste of water when you drink it.
  • Hot, Spicy – This is like pepper, or cayenne pepper. You probably know the rest.

As I told you earlier, you should get used to each taste separately before you start combining them. So I advice you to take your time and learn how to identify each taste by it self.

When you do know each taste you can start with creating a mixture of all the tastes combined into a “shot of balance”. I usually take a small glass, fill it half full with water. After that I take a little salt, just a pinch so that you can feel the taste. Then I add cinnamon and cayenne pepper, and top it off with some sugar and a dash of lemon juice. I know it sounds like a odd mixture of tastes, but I also advice you to take all the glass at once and swirl it in your mouth for 10 – 20 seconds.

I believe that the tastes that you pay most attention to represent the element you have the least of. If you suffer from depressions, anxiety, melancholy, obsessions, violent- angry and doubtful feelings or behaviors I strongly advice you to try this out. If do not feel any different right away just keep on taking it. It will work for you as many of the others.

My experience is that I feel much better from depressions and anxiety right away.

So good luck and have a nice day.

May the force be with you :)

Smile When the Time is Right

For a little while ago I started thinking about the “rollercoaster of moods”, and that not everybody experiences it. I know some people that have few swings and people that never stands still in an emotion, like me. I wondered why it was like this.

Yes, the statements about bipolar disorders and similar mental diseases and sicknesses came to mind, but I felt that was a little vague of an explanation even though its many of the medical terms and such and such. The theories of taoism and chinese cultural understanding fell in a more logical thought pattern for me.

We are all familiar with the consept of kontrasts (white – black, big – smal etc.) and that where there is happiness there will exist sadness, where there is hate there will exist love and so on. So I started playing with the idea of that if I am over-enthusiastic I will experience the opposite some time after, if I am over-happy I will become über depressed, if I am over-caring I will become careless and so on. As Yin/Yang would place this; where the top is high, the bottom is equally low.

So in other words, if I don’t start the top-end I won’t have a reason to experience the bottom-end, but being completly neutral resulted in no happiness and no sadness. I fell on the conclusion of that there is no reason to smile or laugh if it is just to please someones hope of reaction, nore the opposite, laugh to get a reaction. The same goes for the negative sides, why be mad or sad just because someone else is it? So I decided to start being completly honest about my reactions and not follow what I think others would like me to react. I tried to match this up with my friends who did not have so drastic mood-swings and it actually fitted in. I found that they don’t laugh to please anyone else, and so with their cries. If they think something is funny they will laugh and so with their cries if something is sad. This thought brought me often the word  “Focus”.

I think that most moods swings happen when one place its focus wrong. I have some weeks now been doing the “Shong” Qigong routine. This routine gives you a picture of where your focus should lie, by striking over where it sholdn’t be. The Shong routine is the image to the right. Below you will find instuctions and an explanation of the different lines.

Instuctions:

  • Draw the sign in the air with your arms.
  • Follow the numbers as illustrated. Odds (1,3) are the left arm, evens (2,4) are the right arm. Allways start with left arm.
  • Breating: Inhale when you are positioning your arm to draw a line, exhale while drawing the line.
  • Do this in slow motion everyday for as long as you feel it is usefull for you.

Explanation :

  1. this line represents the spritual aspects of life.
  2. this bow represents the emosional and social aspect.
  3. this line represents the material and physical things in life.
  4. this is the striking line that represents where your focus should be.

Now, what is the center focus? as the theory of this Qigong routine goes, the focus should be your reason of being on this planet, your mission. I haven’t heard the whole story behind this, but I think that line 1, 2 and 3 are the aspects of our cultural habbits that distracts us from our mission. Not to say that having nice things and lots of friends and other partners is wrong, but is it clever to focus your center on aspects that most likly will fade after a while?

If you lay all your happiness on your partner in life or a close friend, and let that person controll your smiles and cries through their mood, responses and reactions. What would happen if that person suddenly left your life?

Or an even better example: What if you lay most of your daily activities on the television, lets the TV controll your mood, happiness and cries, spend most of your time in front of the “box of entertainment”. How would you feel or what would you do if the TV suddenly didn’t work?

I guess that both scenarios would result in long time unhappiness for the most of us. I don’t remember where I heard this next line but its a great one: “If you own more than 7 items, your items end up owning you”. Thats a thought-starter for me. I think Yin/Yang would place this situation something like this: if You own everything, then you will own nothing.

So my final conclusion on this topic is; Smile and cry when its natural for one self, find the right focus and walk the line that has been drawn, to every high there’s an equal low so do not push anything over the top or under, then one would have no reason to have unstable moodswings.

Thank you for reading this post!

I really hope you do the “Shong” Qigong routine if you feel your mood is a swinger, or if you’d like to correct your focus in life.
